Finally made some progress again today. This is largely due to my compressor being installed and running. I finished up the aileron kit except for a few rivets. The bucking bar I have is too thick for them so once I receive that I can truly finish the kit. Overall, it has a few dings, scratches, and mistakes in it, but that is OK. I learned a lot doing it including what tools work best in certain situations and what techniques go along with them. I have a second aileron kit which I hope to start tomorrow just to work any other bugs out. The practice kits are inexpensive and I'd rather practice one more time on something cheap than on the more expensive tail kit.
