Brief Description: Countersinking the skin/rear tank baffle
Instead of dimpling the wing skin at the point where the rear tank baffle is located, the plans call for you to machine countersink for the rivet heads. This will allow the rear baffle to slide into place more easily with the proseal on the baffle flanges.
I also started work on the forward fuel tank attach brackets. Each bracket had to be formed out of a piece of angle iron. Once formed, the rivet pattern was drilled onto the forward part of the most inboard rib. Using a hole saw, I cut a 9/16th inch hole into the bracket. This is where the fuel line will enter the tank and attach to the flop tube.
