Brief Description: Horizontal Stab Front Spar Doublers
The front spar doublers were seperated (they came as one piece), lined up and match drilled. Parts HS-810-1 and HS-814-1 were prepped and tapered. The front spar also needed to have a 1/4" relief notch drilled out with a unibit. Now came the stressful part! Bending 810 and 814 to a 6 degree aft sweep. This is what gives the sweep for the horizontal stab. The bends were made using wooden blocks, a mallet, and a protractor. In actuality this was really easy. It was a lot more intimidating than it actually was. I was proud of my final angles!
