Making sure to prep the new resin and glass work for fuel, I post cured them a bit using a heater. I was able to get the sump surfaces to a safe 108 deg. for about 3hrs each. This goes a long way in completeing the cross linking of the epoxy, henceforth, fuel resistance. After they cooled down, I made duct tape dams and filled the aft section with X-30 foam. Contoured down, and slurried, they got 2 plies BID and peel ply. Next up is bringing them back to a pleasant micro contour. this lower fuselage is about to look like a winter wonderland. :)
