Hmmm, this sump is really coming back to haunt me. I fixed a leak in the lower part of it but now it developed one on the top. Son of a ... ! Well, I drained the right tank, then carved out a larger area around the leak until I hit fiberglass. The leaking area was very small but I wanted to make sure. I then whipped up some fiberglass strands into EzPoxy and a little micro for a fuel proofing gel. I pressed it into the carved out area and layed up peel ply over the top. I then placed my shop lamps nearby for a good hot post cure. After this cures, I'll be adding micro to the outside for a second seal as well as the finishing touches. I will be flying tomorrow so I need a full cure.
