Well good news, after an hour of fine tuning and adjusting the actuator to it's limits I was able to justify mounting the new brackets in the original hard point locations. :) I must say however it took 99% of the actuators full extended throw to do it. Some builders would prefer to drill new hard points so more flexible adjustments could be made later, but I don't foresee the need arising. After concluding the bracket positions and confirming the nose wheel would reach fs16, I marked the holes and match drilled them on the press. Having match drilled them, the installation was a breeze. I ran all 4 an4 bolts through the 6 hardpoints, added temporary locktite and torqued them to 70 in pounds each. good to go :)
