Brief Description: Rudder cable complete and AP Servo
The Rudder cable was easily finished today after a good nights' sleep. Amazing what that can do. However, I am still on the border of "ok" on the cable/pulley lineup, but now because of the right pulley bracket. I'm going to be watching for cable wear over the next 50 hours and see if a major change needs to take place or not. For now it's adjusted as much as possible before major changes are needed. I jumped inside the cockpit and made several adjustments to the pedals and cable turnbuckle thingys in order to have IDENTICAL throw and geometry for both rudders and I think I've nailed it! Next, I was off to finish up the last tasks prior to building the cowling which meant building the pushrod system for the AP Roll servo. I found I had to add a SLIGHT amount of binding to the pushrod rod ends in order to keep the rod from rotating during operation, however there may be a better fix that I will research and find, but for now it works great.
