There was NOTHING cooler than flying formation for the first time in my life today. Dave Shultz brought his camera too. First of all I was able to get some really really cool air to air photos and video as well. Then after he broke off I took her up to 12,500ft to see how she does. The BEST news is that even on a really hard and heavy climb, the oil temps stayed under 240. Not amazing, but definitely good comparred to what I've been seeing. Plus, I've only lost 2kts by adding that big ol scoop on the bottom cowling. Now I'm confident I can take a trip to Florida and make it to San Antonio without issues.
