Brief Description: Preparing for riveting top rear fuselage
|

Weekend spent at preparing final riveting , so lots of repetitive tasks : deburring, dimpling, priming.
It was also a good time to insure that everything is done as per the plans ... time to check details. I also installed the 2 rudder cables, the 2 seat belt cables and I looked at passing the trim cable ( yes I decided to use a manual elevator trim) but I was not sure if I could do it at this point since there is no wing mounted. So I elected to do it at a later time. I also cleaned out all the dust, did some primer touch-up.
In that section, I still need to install the ADAHRS , run the tubes from the wing but also from the static holes, and run electric wiring for various equipments such as the servo, the ADAHRS, the tail light. But many things has been completed already !
Finally, I have prepared a bed for my helper to slip his body inside the fuselage for bucking. That will happen next Saturday.
