Feeling crap today but decided to do a little work on the rudder skeleton. Added the nutplates and drilled out all the spar web holes to full size plus finished 703 to 713 drilling to final size. Fibreglass fairing does not look like too bad a fit and with a bit of wokr should fit nicely.
Found two extra holes in the rudder horn and R606PP, a bit of internet research on vans airforce shows that these two parts are in loads of other kits so don't need to be drilled out. Looks a bit crap though to considering remaking a larger version of the 717 shim to finish the area nicely otherwise looks like a half finished job.
