Brief Description: Vertical stabiliser priming and spar riveting
Took a break from work to wash down the parts and then spray with primer. Went smoothly but need to widen the spray web and keep the air pressure high in the gun to avoid orange skin and inconsistent finish.
I started to rivet teh vertical stabiliser spar and even with the rivet gun I managed to mess up four standard rivets which have to be drilled out, two over driven and two with really bad tails. Otherwise the rest look ok and the flush rivets went well even the gun set ones.
Note: Third image shows one of the over driven rivets that had to be removed.
