Installing the landing gear weldment requires a hole to be cut in the bottom skin of the fuselage. The plans have a full scale template to use for marking the location. I traced the drawing and then tape it to the floor being careful to line up the rivet marks from the drawing. Next I put wood blocks under the fuselage to give the hole saw support while cutting the hole.
