Didn't have such a good application of primer last go, so I sanded down and degreased the parts that needed it (all but 3 of the rudder and both elevator skeletons), and reprimed em. Also primed the trim servo aluminum parts. I believe alll that is left to prime is the piano hinge. Believe I am getting the hang of the rhythm needed for priming with Stewart Systems. I am also liking not diluting the paint with anything.
Clecoed and riveted the rudder skeleton. There are currently 3 rivets I was unable to buck due to not have a thin enough bucking bar. Also still need to add the counterweight assembly and roll the leading edge.
We also drilled out the -6 rivets I put on the vertical stabilizer and drove -7 on the brackets that hold the rudder on. It was all for peace of mind. Am considering adding 4 blind rivets to the middle bracket on the rear spar as well.
