Called Van's this morning and told Ken of my E-606PP mess up. He said it did not matter since the piano hinge was beneath the flange and could hold the shop head of the rivet with no problem. Spent time preparing and drilling HS-810-1 and HS-814-1. Also decided to use HS-702 that I warbled a hole on. Drilled another hole through the flange and angle. Looks good.
Trimmed the E-714 counterweights with the millling machine. Very nice piece of equipment.
Etched and primed the rest of the parts for the rudder and elevator skeletons. Primer was very runny, as it was very humid and cooler than usual. Gun was also spraying a lot of paint, so I went quick and put many light coats on. Have to save the rest for tomorrow morning before work.
