First attempt at fluting. Found it rather easy, though I held the pliers the wrong direction on first attempt. Match and final drilled entire vertical stabilizer assembly. Used pneumatic drill for the first time. Very easy to hold straight when watching reflection of drill bit in the aluminum. Drill also easy to finesse. Finished the edges of spar doubler. Still need to file and edge holes in ribs and skin and debur all drilled holes before priming and dimpling.
Discovered it is very easy to forget which holes were already final drilled. Using a sharpie to mark the holes as I drill them is the surest way I've discovered so far.
