Following masking the fuselage was treated with Prekote and left to dry over night, placed in the paint booth and cleaned from particles with takrag. In order to get better access to the lower part the fuselage was tilted as much as safety allowed. Priming turned out to be easy. After priming it was grinded, as usual, with sandpaper 400 grit, and cleaned before painted. Top and bottom painting went well but the sides were less than perfect. Too much paint here and there and some drippings. Anyway, I suppose one shoudn't ask for too much considering this is the first major paint work.
