Dismantled front side to work on back. Trimmed rear firewall reinforcement 6B7-2 to fit. Marked rivet line 10mm from top flange. Lined that pre-drilled holes and lined up the centerline. Drilled and clecoed in place.
Cut 2 'L' angle diagonal pieces. Had to re-do right side due to edge distance problem at bottom most rivet.
Reassembled with clecoes.
Found center firewall stiffener 6B8-7 was pre-cut and drilled. That was easy! Clecoed in place.
Worked on nose gear gussets 6B8-1 per assembly manual. Filed interior corner area to allow bending to match radius of 6B7-1. Edge distance problem with pre-drilled holes in shelf 78mm and the flange it mates to is only 90mm. The best edge distance possible is only 6mm!!! Marked and dirlled holes in gusset. Then clamped in place. Checked shelf was square with fire wall. Then drilled and clecoed gussets in place.
Trimmed upper bearing 6B8-6 to fit and rounded edge to match radius in top stiffener.
