Brief Description: Finish FS, Prepare Ribs, Left Stab Skeleton
Today was a long day and I accomplished relatively much (albeit with not great efficiency due to my inexperience and hesitance to multitask - step-by-step according to the directions for me!). The photos show a few key steps. The frot spar is essentially complete except for match drilling with ribs and skin, prepping and priming. The bends for the front spar turned out fine and the triming and shaping of the spar halves and reimforcements are within tolerances and look pretty good. I then went on to squaring and fluting all HS ribs as indicated, and trimming the HS-404 nose rib. Image three shows the left HS skeleton clecoed together and nearly ready to begin drilling with the skin..I just need to disassemble, debur and edge prep, then reassemble. The left side is actually starting to look like it might grow into an airplane someday!
