Brief Description:  Finish rear HS spar, begin front HS spar

Finished up the HS rear spar (except for deburring and priming) by priming the VA-146 bearing and riveting it in assembly with the HS-411 brackets. This is pretty significant for me in that it was the first time I've ever riveted anything. I used the Avery hand squeezer which worked out well (also very easy!) My next riveting will be done with the pneumatic squeezer and the riveting gun using some scrap aluminum, so I can get practice with them before doing anything important. I have to admit it's taking some time to learn all the nomenclature involved with riveting, and I frequently have to review the construction basics in the manual. Hopefully it will become second nature soon!I also started work on the HS front spar, completing the two angles and making the 6 deg. bends. Went a whole lot easier than I expected. More difficult was the trimming and drilling of the front spar channel flanges and bend relief holes. Once more, a lot of confusing nomenclature with instructions that really take awhile to make sense of. I had to quit before finishing the relief holes as I need to buy some smaller files and try and find my Dremel tool. I'll try to complete it next session.
