Went to Lowe's aircraft supply and picked up some .025 aluminum sheet and a 6 foot lenth of aluminum 1 inch strap. Fabricated Seat backs out of the thinner sheet. Then I fabricated the tabs that wrap around the seat frame, and attach the seat pan. Deburred all that stuff, then clamped the pan and tabs in place and matched drilled the pan to the previously drilled holes in the tabs. Deburred all the holes, debated priming, decided not to, and then riveted the seat pans in place. Ive learned that doing all this is possible in a wheel chair, just harder and it takes way more time. Also, hoses and wheelchairs dont like each other. Cleaned all the aluminum scraps off the floor and table. Next will be the seat backs. Personal note for the future, I'm seperated from Amy and moving into my hangar apartment as soon as it's finished. I can't wait.
