Worked on the mass balance arm. After fitting the new mod 70, which is easy with the top off. I built up the balance guide and support stop. This is made from 3mm ply wood with layups of bid over the forward face. It is positioned as also to provide a guide for the pitch tube. Fixed to the fuselage with a bracket of 4 ply’s of bid. This will be bolted to allow removal if needed.
