On advice from my LAA inspector, I made some better mass Balance stops. As the weights are very heavy and need a little more support.
Easley made by draping 2 Ply’s of BID, 2 Ply’s of UNI and 2 more Ply’s of BID over my wife’s hairspray can. I fixed on some toothed fan belt from my local car dealer with Redux. After spending a lot of time setting up the travel distance of 5degrees up and 13 degrees down, they are held in place with bolts and washes to spread the load as much as possible.
