The task of preparing the stiffeners is a mindless task, but one that has to be done. Below are some of the small hand tools I use to complete the task.
As I finish each one, I would cleco them to the skin so I can account for each one as I go. I also check the trailing end to make sure when the skin to bent to the final shape, nothing interferes with the narrow edge.
All the stiffeners are complete and ready to be matched drilled. Once that is complete more hand work to get them ready for priming.
