We opted for a Aero Sport Power 210 hp / IO-390 cubic inch motor. Fuel injected and can run on all fuel types. We plan on using AV gas the majority of the time but experience tells us that some flying in the Outback of Australia AV gas is not always available. We installed the motor in one and half hours without any problems. The motor was $48,500AU landed in Australia excluding GST. A big investment contributing 25% of the cost of the plane and hence we were pretty happy when it was hanging on the front end of the frame.
