Firstly the window had to be made to the size. The front window is supplies over size. We needed to slowly rub back the window to make it fit to size. This process took 6 hours of rubbing back the window, check fitting and continueing to rub back. Obviously it would be real trouble if we rubbed back too far. Once we were happy with the window size and fit we prepared the window with a primer. The opening on the fuselage for the window needed to be rubbed back to the raw state of fibreglass removing any paint. Once we were happy with the fit used the adhesive to fit. Then came the fun part.....cleaning up the over spill. Once it was set we need to remove the masking tape.
