Firstly a jig was made out of timber to represent the correct thickness required to allow clearance for the front of the cowling and the prop. This also helped line up the cowling evenly in the middle. The bottom of the cowling was cut away to allow room for the front wheel strut to protrude. Once we had the bottom of the cowling in place we cleco'd in place.
