We made a base for the auto pilot "servos' for both left & right and up & down movement through the control stick linkages. We assessed other designs which simply bolt to the floor and decided that an extreme amount of physical stress is involved when moving the controls. We fabricated a fiber glass plyth using foam core / fiber glass and finally a aluminum plate was fiber glassed on the top to act as as a solid foundation. At this stage we have only made the base for the auto pilot.
