The reason the web site was not updated for 5 weeks was that it took this long to fix the upper wing skin. We started with the starboard wing and found it challenging. The bad news it took this long to do one wing and we have one more to go. The inspection holes in image 1 shows the only access you have when holding the bucking bar on the other side. Some individual rivetts could take anywhere from a couple of minutes to 15 minutes to try and fix correctly. Darren rang Harry Delong at Glasair in the USA to ensure we were on track and get some tips on rivetting inside the wing. We ended up using about 8 blind rivetts in each wing in areas impossible to get too. Harry said this was good.
