We marked the stabilizer chord reference line. The centre line of each strake must be aligned with the chord line of the stabilizer.The strake halves are then joined with masking tape and positioned correctly. Once satisfied the two halved are then joined with two layer of cloth and resin. To give the fairings strength strake ribs are inserted and using Q-cell they are bonded in place. Finally a sheet of cloth is resined on the top layer. A gap was left on the two outside ribs to allow any water that gets in to drain.
