Assembled the front nose wheel and then installing the engine mount. The nose strut is assembled and fixed. The nose gear strut attached to the two large triangular arms in the centre of the firewall frame. Four rubber shock bushings installed to absord the gear loads and transfer them through to shock truss up into the lower engine mount.
Noel Whitticker dropped in on the weekend. He owns the hanger next door and has built several planes. We discussed the way should go about the fire wall. He had a look over the work we have done to date and he was pleased.
