Brief Description:  Install the aft fuselage struts

Problems......the factory supplied us with two Starboard struts and we needed a left and right. We rang the factory and said they had come across this before and organised another one to be flown out. Interestingly when we told the factory we needed a "Port" strut after asking around the factory nobody new which side this was. They said none of them were sailors. We then said the same side as the pilot sits.
Anyway, we now need to wait for the new part to arrive so as we can fit them together.

18/12/2007 - 1 week later.....Guess what!!!! The factory got it wrong again and sent us the same bloody struts again. We now have three Starboard struts

1/1/2008 - another week later. The factory did not not want to make another mistake so they sent us both sides....a Starboard and Port strut. ALLELUIA!!! We can now fit these struts......I am not sure what we are going to do with the 3 Starboard struts left over......maybe we will send them back to factory with a Nautical Book so they can work out the lefts and rights?

Anyway it was really nice of the factory to send us both sides so we didn't have a break down in communication again. Maybe us Aussies, speak funny!! ..... or it could be just Darren. Gee, it's great being responsible for the Web Site - I can slag Darren without any come back....Tim

Picture shows the final installation of the struts.....finished on 5/1/08
