We used our 1/8" wooden spacer bars to ensure the clearance was correct. We taped a piece of scap aluminum on the top aligning the rudder and fin leading egdes. Peter Koald (bloody pilot who have built a plane before thing they know it all) dropped in at this stage and he changed the position about 5 times as he thought Darren and Tim had it all wrong. At the time he was a pain in the ass but later I thought is would help if the plane flew straight.
