Well.....this is the last page to this chapter. VH - OAO is now finished and flying beautifully. The plane has done 35 hours and the last job to be done was connecting the auto pilot, which was done last week. The paint job is outstanding and a big thankyou to Doglas Aviation at Yarrawonga VICTORIA for a magnificient piece of art. This plane could stand proud at any aviation display or exhibtion. My hat goes off to Glasair who have designed a great aircraft. This plane will suit our needs as we fly around the outback of Australia.
The good news is Darren and myself are still good mates after spending every Tuesday night and every Saturday for two and half years together. We have really enjoyed the experience and have learnt so much. It simply proves if you put your mind to anything..... it can be done.
