I was able to get the #1 former LH & RH attach plates drilled and fitted. I also fitted the upper splice plate and attached it to the FWD spline attach clip.
My bends on the attach plates were just a bit off so I put them back in the arbor press and added a little bend. This made for a much better fit. Also, the #1 former flanges had a little bit of an open angle which pushes out on the turtle deck skins. When I remove everything to deburr I'll tweak the flanges to get a better fit.
