I've decided to go with a UL Power 260iS engine after doing a lot of research. After speaking with Jeremy at Sonex, the Jabiru 2200 mount will work with 260iS. However, I'm at the point of needing to get the fuselage on the gear and need the mount to do that. The gear legs fit into the aft lower part of the engine mount for the standard gear Waiex/Sonex.
I ordered the 2200 engine mount and the universal cowling from Sonex, but they are also back ordered. So I decided to start working on the rudder pedal installation. I made one of the pedal support/attach blocks out of phenolic according to plans page C02. I'll make the other one tonight and starting installing the rudder pedals.
