Brief Description: Riveted Lower Firewall Hinges & Drilled Idler Arm
Tonight was the first productive night since before Ohskosh. I fitted, drilled, primed and painted the lower firewall hinge halves. After the paint dried I riveted them in place. Nice to have this part done!
I then went to work on plans sheet F10. I pressed the bronze bushings into the idler arm brackets. The holes in the brackets were already to size since they come in the machined angle components kit. I just used my wood V-block and my arbor press to fit the bushings.
Finally I updrilled the three holes in the idler arm. Two 1/4" holes at the top and one 3/16" hole at the bottom.
