Brief Description: Riveted Aft Fuselage Mixer Mount Assemblies
Tonight I primed and riveted the aft fuselage mixer mount assemblies together per plans sheet F25. This sheet is now complete and it's on the sheet F24...making the cross tie box and more channel cutting.
There were several rivets that were difficult to install due to their close proximity to other flanges or legs of material. I had to use my narrow rivet squeezer to get into many of those spaces. I can't say that I'm really pleased with the factory hole placement on the pulley brackets. The pulley brackets came in the machined angle components kit and the holes were located in the radius of the angle. I did install the rivets and they set smoothly however. It is questionable if I should have ground out some of the radius around each hole to maintain rivet strength in that area.
