It's always fun to get new tools! I went ahead and purchased the band saw I had been looking at for several months. Most of the online reviews rated this saw as a very good buy that is built well and reliable. It definitely is one HEAVY piece of equipment. 14" band saw by Porter-Cable which I purchased at Lowes.
I used it to cut the aft longerons and it couldn't have been easier! Cuts like butter through the 6061 aluminum with a 6 tooth per inch blade.
