What looked like an easy job turned out to be a pain in the...
The tank is secured with 7 brackets which are riveted to the outer support tube and the root compression tube. Two of the brackets are hidden behind the the rootrib and the no. 2 rib channels.
To get these brackets installed I had to get rid of the two rib channels, this of course was very time consuming. Once the two channels were removed I could install the two brackets.
Next thing was to re-install the rib channels.
To avoid this mess one should install the rootrib and rib no.2 channels temporary with clecos, like this you can install the brackets and afterwards rivet the channels to there ribs.
Installed the righthand forward fuel vent line, used anti-chafe tape at the clamp locations.
Installed the forward vent line inboard to the tee on top of the tank.
