What can one do on a rainy day? One can cover a rudder and so this is what I did.
Cut fabric large enough to fit the frame. Glued fabric first on on side and pre ironed the fabric to take the wrinkles out.
Glued the second side and let it all dry. Final ironed both side on 250F deg. and then on 350F deg. as instructed in the Poly-Fiber manual.
Next will be the appliacaton of the polybrush,tapes, polyspray etc. For this I need higher temperatures at the hangar. I can not apply these coatings at home, the fumes are awsome and not so healthy.
In the meantime I will cover the other control surfaces. As soon as temperatures are up I will spray them all in one go.
