Cleaned the paintbooth which was full of white dust. After every painting exercise I change the plastic sheet along the walls and the sheet on the ground.
I had to sand out some rags which I discovered in the white Polytone, used 1000 wet sandpaper to achieve a smooth surface.
Cleaned entire wing with C-2210 paint cleaner followed by a tack rag to collect last minute dust.
Mixed the yellow Polytone with reducer 4:1
On both sides we first applied a mist layer and let this dry for a few minutes. Then sprayed both sides, this time without any runs.
I had to wait until late in the evening before returning home, outside temperatures dropped fast and I had to leave the heating on to assist the drying process.
One wing done, now number two. The whole process again. Wish I had a professional paintbooth, I guess you can't have it all. Painting one wing took me 3 weeks.
