Completed drilling of front deck top skin to substructure.
Marked hole locations for roll bar attach bolts and drilled to #40. Marked proper location and edge distance for roll bar. Roll bar placed into position, removed and tweaked to fit. .Roll bar bolt spacers cut to proper length and size and drilled to fuselage holes. Once fit of roll bar was good it was clamped to fuselage and back drilled from the bottom using the previously drilled holes for proper location. Roll bar removed and holes in roll bar and fuselage drilled to correct size Front roll bar brace cut to proper length and clamped to roll bar. Brace drilled to forward deck rib and angle. Brace and roll bar drilled to bolt attaching the two.
Roll bar brace removed and top skin removed.
A piece of plywood was cut to simulate the Vertical Power unit and mounted to the brackets I made last week. I decided to reposition this unit for easier access.
