Brief Description: Elevator pushrods, unpack finishing kit
Intalled the front elevator pushrod. Because of its length and the confines of the tunnel it lives in this required the removal of the elevator bellcrank and the end fitting for the pushrod. With this I was barely able to sueeze it into its tunnel by deflecting one of the bulkheads a tad. Snug. The bellcranck war then replaced and the rear pushrod fitted to and then attached to the bellcrank The connections should not need to be removed again so I hit them with Loctite.
With the pushrods in place the elevators were removed and returned to their cradles.
Fabricated attach plate for Front Deck and drillet it to rib and angles.
I removed the top of the crate for the Finishing Kit, unpacked the parts and inventoried them. The top of the crate was cut up for disposal and all cardboard and packing parer removed for recycling.
