Tank work continued today. The first task was to wipe down the left tank with MEK to remove the excess sealant fron the skin. This took a little more elbow grease than the rightt tank did since the sealant had longer to harden. The I finished the prep work in the replacement innermost ribs. This consisted of cutting the holes for the vent line fitting and the fuel level sender coupling (this time to the correct size!!) using the Unibit, cutting the access hole using the fly whell cutter, drilling, dimpling and countersinking the access ring to the rib and then riveting platenuts to form to access attach. After finishing that I moved on and mixed a cood bit of sealant and filleted the ribs to the skins and covered the inside head of each rivet head with sealant.
