Brief Description:  Control cables, alternator fuse block

I had both successes and setbacks today.

The first order of business was to install the new battery in the Decathlon. This fixed the starter problem. All paperwork was prepared and now just waiting for the mechanic to sign the work off.

The shortened oil line was reinstalled on the engine. The throttle cable was run from the throttle quadrant to the fuel injector servo throttle arm. End fittings were installed and attached. This one worked! I tried installing the mixture and prop control cables but ran into problems. The mixture cable was ordered too short and I am not sure what to do about the prop cable because it has to make a tight bend and the cable I have doesn't seem to want to.

I decided to move on to other things because I was frustrated by the control difficulties. The fuse alternator was drilled to and installed on the firewall. Copper bar was run from the ammeter shunt to the fuse block and was rie was cut and ends fitted to connect the aleternator to the fuse block.
