Brief Description:  Brake assembly, Dynon installation started

With all the Dynon avionics delivered and with torque plates in hand I again have plenty to keep me busy for several weeks.

I started by assembling the right brake. The manual and drawings are not very good on these and I had a really hard time getting a good mental picture of what went where. But after some mis-starts I finally got the right side assembled. You would think that the left would have gone much better but even there I had to keep checking the right side and figure out what the mirror image would look like.

I also ran the Dynon Skyview cable from the panel back to the ADAHRS location in the rear of the airplane. The cable just barely fit in the snap bushings along with the pitot and static tubes.

I also ran the Engine Monitoring harnesses up from the panel through the firewall. Once connected to the EMS unit I worked with what placement of all the subpanel items would provide sufficient clearance for all the harness connections.

Once I relaid everything on the subpanel I drilled and mounted the transponder tray to the subpanel.
