Today the plane came off of its cradles and was put on legs!!
I instaled the landing gear legs and then installed the wheels and tires. Drilling the holes for the cotter pin that keeps the axle nut in place was a bit of a challenge. As is the case with so many things, the second try took about a third of the time as the first and with a better result.
I put the plane on its gear now as I felt that it needed to be better supported when the engine arrives.
