The project is officially an airplane! The registration card from the FAA arrived in the mail!! The only construction activity today was to pick up the Data Plate at the engravers and drill and then rivit it to the fuselage under the tail. All inspection covers and the cowlings were removed for the airworthiness inspection. The leg fairings and wheel fairings were removed per Van's recommendation to increase drag and slow the plane during its initial test flights.
