The right wing tip was temporarily installed. With both wing tips in place the ailerons were rigged for proper alignment by adjusting the length of the aileron pushrods. Once alignment was complete the pushrods were bolted to the aileron bellcranks and torqued.
Both flaps were installed by inserting hinge pins, 2 per flap and then safety wiring the pins together.
Cotter pins were installed in the rear spar attach castle nuts.
The battery was attached for the first time. Master switch was turned on and nav, strobe, landing and taxi lights were checked for proper operation. Everything worked as planned. The flap actuator was run up and down as needed to set the flap pushrods.
Flaps were rigged by adjusting pushrods to provide proper travel. Angle was measured using an electronic level. Once pushrod lengths were zeroed in on the pushrods were bolted to the flap actuator arms using prescribed hardware.
