Brief Description:  Cowl and base molding

The mild December temperatures this week are working well with the fiberglass work I need to complete. With a fresh delivery of epoxy resin and hardner I spent the day with it.

The canopy base and top molding were given a coat of epoxy.

Clips for the the prop governor oil line and the manifold pressure senso hose were epoxied to the bottom cowl.

The empennage fairing was final drilled and countersunk and then sanded. The lower side pieces were given a coat of epoxy/acetone mix to fill pinholes.

The cowl was placed on sawhorses and stabilized to the ceiling. The first layer of the joggle tab were epoxied in place.

The doghouse slide plug was fitted.
